About Our Founder
Eric Smith is the Founder and President of YBI Recruiting. His career has given him the opportunity to see recruiting from nearly every angle—from working directly in recruiting and staffing, to helping companies build hiring strategies through recruiting technology, to leading Talent Acquisition teams internally.
Over the years, Eric has worked with organizations ranging from small local businesses to some of the largest companies in the country. That experience gave him a firsthand look at both the challenges employers face when trying to hire and the limitations of many traditional recruiting models.
Companies often face the same difficult choice: build out an internal recruiting team and invest in all the technology and resources that come with it, or turn to outside recruiting firms that can become extremely expensive as hiring needs grow.
Eric believed there was a better option.
That idea became YBI Recruiting: giving companies the ability to add recruiting horsepower when and where they need it. YBI provides clients with a dedicated recruiting team and a full suite of recruiting resources—from sourcing technology and candidate databases to market data, advertising, outreach, screening and scheduling—without the cost and overhead of building that infrastructure internally.
